Sunset Gardens offers the assistance residents need, with all the independence they want.

This assisted living facility is the perfect alternative for seniors who can no longer live safely in their own home, yet do not need 24-hour medical supervision. Sunset Gardens is a housing and health care alternative, combining independence with personal care, in a warm, dignified, home-like atmosphere.

Sunset Gardens has 11 private rooms and 2 double rooms, for a couple or siblings. Meals, snacks, housekeeping, laundry, cable television, and maintenance services are provided. We also offer social and recreational programs and chapel.

Our emergency call system ensures Sunset Gardens ' safe, secure environment is maintained.

Health care services include a registered nurse on-site or on-call 24 hours per day, medication management, personal care services provided by certified nursing assistants (such as assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming).

One of the highlights for residents and their families is the peace of mind provided by the ease of access to medical services in our attached Clinic, Hospital, and Emergency Department. In addition, we offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation.

The cost to live in Sunset Gardens varies with the type of services needed by the resident, but the base cost is $2,250 per month. Residents or their families generally pay the cost of care from their own financial resources. Some long-term care insurances will cover costs, as well as veteran's programs and county programs. Medicare and Medicaid do not pay for assisted living costs.
